Indian Tiffin Rooms Duke Street Liverpool
Date of visit 19/3/25
In this review I will be scoring everything out of 5
Access 4.5/5
The venue has steps at the front which are inaccessible, how the good thing is it has an amazing accessible entrance in the courtyard at the back of the building. Staff need to be made aware of access requirements on booking. It has a disabled toilet that is fully functioning and the emergency cord does work.
Customer Service 5/5
What an excellent experience from the moment we walked in. we were made to feel extremely welcome. The welcome was warm friendly and accommodating. The staff were attentive but never overbearing. They were also very confident in what they were doing, and very relaxed in the process. They also ask about alleges before they take your order so they can recommend dishes for you. Food arrived very promptly and it was still very hot 20 minutes later.
Quality of food 5/5
Mini Poppadoms, This was very unique because the mini poppadoms were many different colours, thes came with 3 different sauces.
Tanjore Chicken . This was a medium spice dish and oh my I have never tasted anything like it. The spicing and texture were flavours I have never had before anywhere.
Rice Again the texture of the rice was amazing it was cooked absolutely perfectly.
Rajasthani Laal Mass
Which is a Lamb dish made with authentic spices. The texture of this dish was fantastic with and excellent combination of flavours.
Jeera Pulav Rice
It has NUTS so not suitable for those with a nut allergy. It is however one of the best rices i have ever tasted with excellent flavouring and great texture.
Onion and chilly naan
It was a great combination of flavours that complimented each other and cooked just about right
Price 5/5
£69.08 (including drinks) This was well worth cost given the quality of food that we experienced and the standard of service we received
Final Score
19,5/20
Conclusion
We would recommend a visit to this venue as it has some unique dishes that I/we have never experienced anywhere else on our travel. It is most defiantly in the top 5 of curries I/we have ever eaten.
