Located close to Lime Street Station. It is an ideal location for a pub/restaurant it is close to the major transport hubs in Liverpool. 2 minutes from the bus station and 2 minutes from Lime Street Station

Totally flat access throughout the premises. It is a really spacious venue. It has an accessible toilet that is a crapped because of 2 big bins a removal of one of those would make it so much easier for wheelchair users to navigate in the accessible toilet.


Customer Service 5/5


Customer service in this venue is excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, from removing the veg from our dinner to answering the many questions I had about the other events that go take place at the venue.


Quality of food 4.5/5


Excellent options on the menu including vegan and vegetarian.

We ordered two roast beef sirloin dinners with roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. The beef had a mustard coating an was amazing in taste and texture. The roast potatoes were light and fluffy and also cooked in goose fat. The Yorkshire puddings were homemade large and had an amazing taste and texture. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was amazing,


The only problem with the food in this venue is that all the vegetables are cooked together meaning that if you dislike a vegetable option you can't have any vegetables. Although I totally understand why this is the process it does mean that there are no individual choices of veg, Providing individual veg might be an idea that needs looking into as a potential was around a problem to enable people that only want specif veg to have them.

Other Notes


This is a really relaxing venue, with a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. A wide range of activities taking place such as board games being played and big screens for live sport. 

It also has a weekly comedy night on a Wednesday or Thursday I cannot clearly remember the answer to that question.


The venue also has a private room that can be hired out for parties.

 Date of visit 8/3/25 This a wonderful Curry House in the heart of Canterbury. I believe it opened in 1976. The Real Eating Company (Canterbury branch)

 Location Canterbury Date of Visit 5/3/25 This wonderful eatery is based in the Whitefriers Canterbury. I will be scoring everything out of 5 Access The eatery has level access to the ground floor, however no access to the upper floor as the life in the building has been out of order for a long time, I believe due to water damage due to  a leak.  As a result of this access to the disabled toilet is impossible. The nearest toilets for people with disabilities are in Fenwicks which is about 100 yards away. 3 Customer Service  The people who work for this organisation are excellent and very accommodating. The politeness of the staff is second to none. Most of the staff have time for conversation when it is not busy and there is always a welcoming smile.  Date of visit 2/5/25 Cote is a French restaurant located in the very heart of Canterbury, close to everything, shops cathedral buses, taxis and about 10 minutes walk from both Canterbury East and West. Access 4/5 It has level access for those with mobility issues with a large ground floor space and reasonable sized outdoor seating area, which is great in the summer if you enjoy eating outside. It also has an upstairs seating area which is inaccessible for people with mobility issues and a reasonably sized disabled toilet which is located at the back of the restaurant on the ground floor. Customer service 3.5/5 The customer service we received on our visit was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for staff, which given how busy they were was refreshing.
