Vernon Arms Vernon Street Liverpool
The Vernon Arms is traditional pub. It has been a pub since Victorian times which was lovingly restored and reopened in 2009. I have visited numerous times on my trips to Liverpool.
THEY DO NOT SERVE FOOD AT THE WEEKENDS. This is to cater for the busyness of the pub when major sporting events take place.
Access 3/5
Access for people with disabilities can be gained via a side door as the front door has a step. It has no disabled toilet. The nearest disabled toilet is at the Premier Inn about 100 yards away, probably less. It is however at the hotels discretion if they will allow customers from outside the hotel to use the disabled toilet. You will need a radar key for access.
Customer Service 4/5
The customer service is always good here. Today was no different if a little slower because the barman was on his own and the pub was very busy.
Quality of Food 5/5
We ordered Steak and Kidney Pie Chips and gravy twice. This was very good hot all the way through with large pieces of steak and crusty edge for the pie. The chips were chunky chips with a good texture and again very hot. They have a good variety on the menu and specials also.
Price 5/5
£21 and a few pence for steak and kidney pie and chips twice plus two pints is excellent value for money.
